Some people find their calling. Mine found me before I could even spell it.
As a little girl, I was the one carrying my baby cousin everywhere she went. By my teens I was the neighborhood babysitter, and when my little brother was born — I was about seventeen — the moment I held him, something in me just knew. At nineteen, I started my first job at a daycare, and I never looked back. Seven years as a preschool teacher and nanny taught me what families truly need — and what the industry wasn't giving them.
Psalm & Waters was born when I went searching for something bigger. I took stock of my strengths, my story, and what I care about most deeply: people, children, and walking alongside families through their hardest seasons. This agency is the answer I kept coming back to.
Here's what I know: inviting someone into your home to care for your children is one of the most vulnerable things a parent will ever do. Too often, families are left guessing — about who's really showing up, about what happens when the door closes. I've worked in those rooms. I've seen the not-so-nice side. And I decided families deserve better.
So I built the agency I always wished existed.
