Psalm & Waters treats all information shared by your household — including names, addresses, children's details, schedules, parenting philosophies, and household requirements — as strictly confidential. We never share, sell, or disclose your personal information to any third party for marketing, advertising, or any purpose outside of your placement engagement.
Information We Collect
When you complete our family inquiry form or consultation questionnaire, we collect the details necessary to curate your placement: your name, contact information, neighborhood, children's ages and needs, schedule requirements, and any unique household considerations. Nanny applicants similarly submit professional credentials, experience history, and resume materials.
How We Use Your Information
Your information is used exclusively to match your family with appropriate childcare professionals, conduct background screening, facilitate introductions, and provide ongoing placement support. Candidate dossiers shared with families contain only professionally relevant information, vetted and approved by our team before release.
Data Security
All household and candidate data is stored on encrypted, access-controlled servers. Only authorized Psalm & Waters consultants directly involved in your placement have access to your file. We employ industry-standard security protocols and conduct regular reviews of our data handling practices.
Candidate Privacy
We extend the same discretion to our registry professionals. Candidate profiles, references, and personal information are shared only with families who have completed our intake process and are actively engaged in a placement search. We never post candidate information publicly.
Data Retention
We retain household and candidate information for the duration of your engagement and for a reasonable period thereafter to facilitate replacement services and ongoing support. Upon written request, we will permanently delete your personal data from our active systems.
Employment Relationship
Psalm & Waters is a premium referral and placement agency. Client families remain the official legal employers of placed professionals. We facilitate the match and provide ongoing support, but all employment decisions — including hiring, compensation, scheduling, and termination — are made directly between the family and the professional.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting our privacy team. We will respond to all such requests within 30 days. If you have concerns about how your data is handled, we are committed to working with you to resolve them.
